Hunter Happenings

Lets get caught up on some great things happening here at T.W. Hunter.

We kicked off our annual cookie dough fundraiser last week. We are trying to repeat as the highest selling middle school in the country, and we are off to a great start. The money raised from this fundraiser is so important to our school, because it allows us to make improvements to the building and in teachers' classrooms that otherwise we would not possible. Keep up the good work students.

The Buccaneer football team took care of business against  Knox Doss Middle School last week to push their record to 2-2 on the season. Come out tonight and support the Bucs tonight as they take on the Ellis Cougars at Hendersonville High.

Put your dancing shoes on. Our first school dance of the year will be Friday, September 21st from 6-8. Admission is $5, and concessions will be sold. Only T.W. Hunter students are allowed and dress code applies. Come have a good time and support our basketball teams.

Welcome Home

We welcomed home Jonathan Seals and Seth Marlin, members of the U.S. Little League Champion Goodlettsville All-Stars, in true Buccaneer style. Upon their arrival back to school their classmates lined the halls cheering and high fiving the young men on their way to class. Then last Thursday, joined by News Channel 2, 102.9 the Buzz, members of the Nashville Sounds Organization, and other local news papers, our own Hunter Herald held a news conference, so the champs could share their experiences with their classmates.
